Tuition up to A level by the hour in London

Most commonly tutors teach students on an hourly basis in London. The majority of tuition takes place in your home, once a week (or more frequently), be this during breaks in the school day, after school or at the weekend.

Most tutors are Endorsed Tutors: they choose to tutor alongside other work, study or activities. A smaller group of tutors are Career Tutors: they have chosen, after years of dedication to teaching and tutoring, masses of experience and reams of positive feedback, to tutor full time.

Residential tuition up to A level in the UK and abroad

Osborne Cawkwell excels at placing excellent tutors for residential tutoring in the UK and across the world. We know that you will be welcoming the tutors into your home, so we listen to your requirements carefully to make sure we find just the right match.

Each year we place a large number of tutors in residential positions; this can be for a short period of time during the school holidays or for longer periods, if a family is travelling for several months and would like to keep their children up to speed with their studies. Without any distractions from other students, huge leaps can be made and much ground covered. We usually recommend four hours of tuition per day for residential positions as being the optimum. The tutor will tailor the lessons to meet the needs of each student and re-assess progress each day. We can advise as how to best structure a day, but as each tutoring placement is different, we leave the final decisions to the client and tutor. Please note that a tutor should not be considered a nanny or childminder and that he or she will require private time to prepare lessons and relax.
